Sunday, October 22, was the first Open House of the 2017-2018 school year. Many students from each class participated in what is arguably the most important event of admissions season as we prepare to welcome future freshmen. Although the event is directed by Ms. Neuberger and other members of the Admissions team, it is largely student-run.
Students participated in classroom presentations, promoted their favorite clubs and sports, led tours, and performed other crucial jobs to help the Open House go off without a hitch. Prospective students and families had the chance to interact with current students and faculty. Each department had a very interesting presentation to show future Warriors what students do in the classroom.
The science department in particular had many experiments, which demonstrated the different types of science we offer at Matignon. The next Open House was on Thursday, November 9 at 6:30 pm. It was also an exciting opportunity for current students to help recruit new students as well as a really fun way to connect with fellow and future Matignon Warriors.
