On a cold but sunny Thursday morning, Matignon and Chelsea High football teams met on the field for the final and most important game of the season, the Thanksgiving football game. Both teams played daringly, with several interceptions, and thankfully no one was injured. The stands on both sides of the field were almost filled with spectators coming to see a fun game before the rest of the holiday events that took place later in the afternoon. Matignon started out losing but by the end of the game, came out as the winners, with a 20-16 lead! This game was a great end to the long season. It was wonderful seeing all those who came out to support the teams. It was a happy Thanksgiving!
